Four trialists, including a pair from the Kaizer Chiefs, are welcomed by Marumo Gallants.

At training, Marumo Gallants are evaluating four new players, two of whom were once Kaizer Chiefs players. After successfully acquiring the DStv Premiership status of Moroka Swallows, Bahlabane Ba Ntwa are making a comeback to the top division. The team relocated to Bloemfontein as well, and now plays its home games at Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium, with Toyota Free State Stadium hosting the bigger matches.

The team has formally declared Dylan Kerr to be their new head coach. The team is now training for the next season by merging retained Swallows players with Gallants players. has been notified that Nicholus Lukhubeni, Kamohelo Mahlatsi, Edwin Gymah, and Kgotso Moleko were received by Gallants on Monday for evaluation.

Moleko, a former Chiefs defender who left Maritzburg United at the end of the 2022–2023 season, is looking to return to action after being single for a year. The 34-year-old defender Moleko was unable to play for the team after sustaining a leg break shortly after joining the Team of Choice. Mahlatsi, another former player for the Chiefs, spent the second part of the 2023–2024 season with Chippa United. He battled injuries, but in just four months, he made 11 appearances.

However, Chippa chose not to exercise his contract’s one-year option, which means that the 25-year-old offensive midfielder will be looking for a new team in time for the 2024–25 season. Lukhubeni, meanwhile, is logically still under contract with Mamelodi Sundowns. He has played on loan for Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Sekhukhune United, Maritzburg United, Moroka Swallows, and Cape Town Spurs in the past. Gymah, who left Sekhukhune United during this transfer season, is also looking to find housing. On November 12, 2023, a former center-back for the Orlando Pirates last kicked the ball against SuperSport United.
